Barry and Amy began working in London for Serge in January 2005. Barry grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, while Amy comes from central New Jersey. Barry moved to New Jersey after university for work, and the two met at Amy's home church. They were married in 2000, and while in London they welcomed N, Q, and K into their family.

Barry and Amy live in a multi-cultural community of West London and are serving as regional supervisors overseeing church planting teams of South Asian Ministries. Barry serves as the Hounslow church planting pastor while Amy is the operations manager for Kairos Community Counselling, a charitable counselling group. Kairos seeks to bring healing and hope by offering counselling services to the marginalised.

Both Amy and Barry sensed a call into full time cross-cultural work during their high school years. Amy studied International Business at Messiah College. Barry prepared for ministry by serving as both an elder and deacon in their New Jersey church and through his Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Philadelphia Biblical University and Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary.
