Jack grew up in Monterey, California. He attended the University of Notre Dame to pursue medicine after he saw the great need in global health on his many trips to Haiti.

Regan grew up in South Florida. After short term trips overseas in high school, she felt a strong call towards missions. She studied Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University in South Carolina. After graduating, she served on staff with a campus ministry in Miami. Medical school brought Jack to the University of Miami in South Florida, where he met Regan in 2013. They quickly became best friends and were married in 2016.

With many years to go before medical training would be complete, Regan decided to begin her own videography and photography business for weddings and non-profits. Her experiences shooting around the world continued to affirm the passion she had for using storytelling to meet global needs.

Jack’s residency in internal medicine and pediatrics took them to San Diego in 2017. During this time, they welcomed their son, Micah (‘19) and daughter Sage (‘21) into the family. Upon finishing residency in 2021, Jack and Regan moved closer to family in Monterey while Jack works as an attending physician as they prepare for their move to Kenya.

Jack and Regan will serve in Kapsowar, Kenya where Jack will serve in the pediatric and adult wards as well as train Kenyan residents at the AIC Kapsowar Hospital. Regan plans to use her talents in visual storytelling to share how God is at work in Kenya and how others can join in that work. She also will use her passion for entrepreneurship to help Kenyans start small businesses so they can better meet the economic needs of their families.
