Apprenticeship Program, Ireland
James was born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent most of his life being raised in the smaller town of Logan. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2018 from Ohio Christian University, continuing his studies at OCU to earn his Master of Arts in ministry in the fall of 2020.
James lives to spread the Gospel and to spread hope to a hurting and broken world -- to spread the hope of a life-changing eternal relationship with Jesus. God has called him to pursue this in Ireland where there is a great search for hope. He will pursue this by serving as a missionary apprentice, working alongside experienced Serge missionaries in churches and other ministries in Ireland to spread the Gospel there. More specifically, James will be involved in the summers helping to lead Serge’s internship program with American and Irish college students. During the rest of each
year, he will partner with a local church or ministry in the Dublin area.
James is excited to see how God will use this opportunity to fulfill his passion to reach hurting people with the hope of the Gospel, to spread the word about our everyday need of the Gospel, and to fulfill the Great Commission.
