John grew up in north Georgia and went to Carson-Newman University in east Tennessee. He was raised in a Christian family, but it was at Reformed University Fellowship in college that his faith truly began to flourish. Through the work of the Holy Spirit within a grace-filled community God worked in John’s life, calling him to deeper faith and trust in the Father. After graduating college he relocated to Orlando, Florida and started taking classes at Reformed Theological Seminary - Orlando, in pursuit of a Master of Divinity.

After two years of classes, John took a break and began his first career in warehousing and logistics. In time, John became an ordained Deacon and a volunteer ministry leader at his church. Eventually, John began to realize that God was leading him to something different, but he was unsure what that was. After having the opportunity to participate in London Evangelism and Prayer (LEAP) Week with Serge in 2019 and 2022, he realized God was calling him to cross-cultural missions in London. John is excited to join Serge in London and spread the wonderful news of God’s love to all the nations who have come to London.

In his free time, John is usually reading a book or re-watching his favorite comedies, but if you need to pull him away from said book or show, invite him to play a pickup game of any sport!
