Kristopher and Kim met at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, and married in 2008. They proceeded to move around North America for the next eleven years pursuing their education. Kristopher has completed Masters Degrees in Divinity (Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia) and Theology (Calvin Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan). He is also ordained as a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church of North America. Our family moved to Kenya in 2019. Kim served at AIC Kapsowar Hospital with World Medical Mission’s Post-Residency Program for two and a half years. Kristopher was appointed as a missionary teacher by Resonate and taught theology classes at the Kapsowar School of Theology. In March of 2022, we were appointed by Serge to be the first members of a new team, continuing to serve the needs of the community in Kapsowar.
Kristopher enjoys fitness, reading, and playing with/training our dog, Nala. Kim spends her free time knitting, cooking, and enjoying the vistas of Western Kenya. Dominic’s interests are many and varied, and currently include arachnids, Minecraft, Hot Wheels, Legos, reading, biking, Hank the Cow Dog, and big cats.
